Healthy whole-food recipes to support health and well-being!

A plant-based diet is an excellent way to eat for good health and well-being or to simple challenge yourself to eat more vegetables. If you’re looking to improve your health or thinking of moving to a plant-based diet and need some inspiration, join Chef Darrin as he shares his favourite dishes and best hacks for a plant based diet.

During this fun and interactive class, enjoy cooking some of your own dishes while Darrin demonstrates some extra dishes for you to recreate at home. Enjoy all your dishes or take some tasters home for later.  All recipes will be supplied to take home. 

Our plant-based classes will run often and the menu will change frequently so you can keep coming back to learn more and more creative plant-based dishes.

About the Chef

Darrin started his cooking career later in life at the age of 30 gaining much of his experience at Soul Mama, St. Kilda’s favourite vegetarian restaurant. From Melbourne’s trendy food scene he moved to Sydney to chase the sun, where he spent 12 years at the renowned bills, Surry Hills. 

Darrin looks forward to sharing his passion for plant based cuisine and hopes to inspire more people to be creative with vegetarian catering.

What to expect during this class

  • Enjoy our small class sizes, our welcome environment and enjoy with your friendly participants.
  • Darrin's warm and laidback manner makes you feel at ease to ask any questions you may have. 
  • We provide aprons for use while you are cooking, creative food to share, drinking water during the class.
  • A fun, relaxed and professionally delivered learning environment. Darrin has a lot of ideas and dishes to share to inspire you to prepare these dishes at home.
  • Use of fresh, top quality, especially sourced ingredients. Let us know in advance if you have any special dietary requirements so that where possible we can accomodate them.
  • Recipes of the dishes you prepare will be provided at the end of the class to take home.
  • This course is typically held various weeknight evenings from 6:30pm and Saturdays either 10:30am or 3:00pm.
