Learn to cook simple and healthy meals that are so versatile they can be used for a dinner party or mid week meal. During this class we will learn about the molecules that make up the food we eat, how to make a balanced meal using all 3 macronutrients(proteins/carbs/fat) and how to adapt the proportions of the food for your activity levels.

We will also discuss the importance of your Gut Health and the anatomy of our gut microbiota and the latest ever changing research. 

This is an informative nutrition seminar and hands on cooking class where we will also have a lot of fun during the class. Walk away with a new appreciation for cooking and eating for health and performance.

During this class will learn about the following

Your Presenters

Katie Ridgeway is a qualified and professional chef with extensive experiencing in running entertaining cooking lessons. Katie has worked at some of Sydney’s best restaurants including The Grounds Alexandria, Chin Chin, Fred’s Paddington, and 10 William Street. She is now a private chef with her own business called Sage with Katie. www.sagewithkatie.com

Edwina Ekins is qualified clinical nutritionist with a Master’s Degree in Nutritional Science and a competitive athlete with a special interest in Youth sport. Edwina currently works with individuals 1:1 in her clinic, with sporting teams and clubs and in schools educating and empowering teens to understand and embrace nutrition to maximise energy and performance for their sport or area of interest.
